TOM HIDDLESTON Velociraptor

I said I’d keep the non-VelocirapTom posts to a minimum, so I hope you’ll forgive me for this one! You can ignore this, if you’d like because it’s nothing terribly important, but I really hope you’ll take a minute to read this post. :)

Today this weird ass blog hit 1000 followers. In just about a week and a half since I started this thing 1000 of you crazy (read: AMAZING) mf-ers have decided that this blog was worth following. I don’t even know where to begin with that but I’ll try..

I suppose I can begin by saying I love you. Each and every one of you that has liked, reblogged, or, hell, even cracked a smile at one of these posts. Because, seriously, did you ever just sit there and think, “You know.. I’m looking at clips from Jurassic Park with Tom Hiddleston’s head pasted on top of velociraptors.” 

Let that thought sink in for a bit. Because that, that right there, is why I love you guys. We’re all a part of this crazy, cracky fandom that gets a kick out of things like this and actually encourages the behavior. No words can describe how much it means to me to know that you guys are just as insane as I am.

I want to thank you guys for the kind words I’ve received because they truly do make my day and I do my best to respond to all comments I receive (and if you send them anon and I can’t reply just know that I love you all the same!) 

I also want to quickly mention that I’m definitely not the first person to have made a VelocirapTom gif and not everything posted on this blog has been made by me (unless you see it’s originally posted on here or on my personal blog, ohmyloki) but I ALWAYS try make sure to reblog the original, so make sure you check the sources if you’re interested in finding awesome people to follow! (Also a quick shout-out to i-wasmadetoberuled for helping run this blog and for creating some mighty hilarious gifs herself! <33 )

The gifs I do make, however, I make because of you guys. After the first one I made (“Don’t go into the long grass!”) I literally stayed up until about 3 am watching the notes because 1. I couldn’t believe people liked it and 2. you guys are downright hilarious. The comments, the reaction gifs.. I think I laughed more that night than I had in a month or more and the same thing has happened every other time I’ve posted a new gif of mine. It makes my week when I can make someone laugh, I get the warm fuzzies and all that ooey-gooey bullshit and can’t keep the grin off my face.

Anyway, this is turning into a novel and I’m sorry and it’s kind of lame that I’m writing a book about getting 1000 followers for a blog about Tom Hiddleston as a velociraptor but I just had to get all these feels out and say thank you to you glorious, wonderful, amazing people. I love you, I truly do. There is no me without you. You complete me.
